Overview
Outerbase Studio is a lightweight, browser-based GUI for SQL databases. It started with LibSQL and SQLite and is a convenient way to inspect and edit Cloudflare D1 databases, alongside Turso, rqlite, and other SQLite-based services. MySQL and PostgreSQL are supported in beta.
It runs entirely in the browser — no installation needed — and a desktop app is available for drivers that can’t run in a browser.
Supported Databases
- SQLite family: Cloudflare D1, Turso / LibSQL, local SQLite files, rqlite, StarbaseDB, Val Town
- MySQL (beta, limited features)
- PostgreSQL (beta, limited features)
Key Features
- Query editor with auto-completion, function hints, and multiple queries per run
- Data editor that stages changes so you can preview them before committing, with a fast grid that handles thousands of rows and columns
- Schema editor to create, modify, and drop columns without writing SQL
- Connection manager that stores connections locally in the browser or on a server to share across devices
- Desktop app for Windows and macOS (an Electron wrapper) that adds native MySQL and PostgreSQL drivers
Getting Started
Open the hosted web version and add a connection to your database (including Cloudflare D1). To self-host the web app instead:

npm install
npm run dev
Use Cases
